BDSV Exhibitions

In 1996 various companies teamed up to form the Group for Defence Technology Fairs (GWM) to create an effective image of the German defence industry at major international trade fairs. GWM was succeeded by BDSV Exhibitions, focusing on promoting the great potential of German defence businesses at major international trade fairs.

At the trade fairs, the group presents itself under the trademark “German Defence Technology”. The team appearance at fairs is an excellent opportunity, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to present themselves individually within a broader, more coherent concept.

BDSV Exhibitions is the industry’s point of contact, in particular for the German Federal Ministries of Defence as well as the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy. This role is underlined by the visits made by high-level delegations from both ministries.

BDSV Exhibitions is closely cooperating with the Federation of German Security & Defence Industries (BDSV).

The BDSV Exhibitions e.V. coordinates the international and national exhibitions on it's own. Thus we can guarantee an individual adjustment to the needs of our member companies and can offer exhibition support at a lower price. The cooperation with the exhibition construction company "Bruns Messebau", which has proven itself over many years, will be continued. Furthermore, BDSV Exhibitions e.V. assumes the function of sales agent for selected exhibitions and is thus responsible for the sale of floor space to German companies. The income generated from this in turn benefits the exhibitors at the respective exhibitions.
